'Among the Sleep' (ALL) Enhanced Edition Coming to PC This Week
Among the Sleep, a first person-perspective horror adventure game taking you through a nightmarish night world as seen through the eyes of a two year old child, is available 10% off for Windows and Mac OS X on GOG.com. Today, developer Krillbite Studio has announced that Among the Sleep – Enhanced Edition is headed to PC (and Mac and Linux) on November 2nd — the console version will hit at an undisclosed date. It explores horror through atmosphere and exploration, not with scores and combat systems.
Merging a child's perception of reality with its wild imagination provides an interesting setting to tell a story. With only your teddy bear as a companion, we hope players will unravel what is actually causing the fear and confusion. There might be threats hiding in every shadow, but there's no traditional combat. Instead of fighting, players will actively have to find places to hide in the environment, and avoid confrontation to survive.
Regarding the environmental interaction, it's physics based, so you'll be able to push, pull and climb objects to reach places, open and close doors, make a staircase out of drawers, peek around corners, carry and place small objects, and the list goes on.
In the new and enhanced edition - available as a free upgrade for existing owners of the game - Krillbite Studio has improved all aspects of the game. There are graphical enhancements and gameplay tweaks, improved interactions, additional dialogue, a pyjamas selector for the toddler and an interactive museum level that let's you explore the content of the game and exclusive behind the scenes material. A digital artbook and soundtrack is also fully integrated into the experience.

Among the Sleep: Enhanced Edition will be available globally for PC, Mac and Linux on Steam October 26 for a price of 17,99 EUR/USD (free upgrade for all owners of the current edition of the game).
